There are three pillars of support which the govt will be providing to startups via this portal. Firstly there will be fund of funds to provide capital to startups. The portal will also serve means to provide tax exceptions. Second purpose of the program is to tie up with partners and enablers of Startups. Many agencies and business entities are involved with startups. This portal will be an umbrella and central repository for such resources. The states resources have also been listed. Lastly it aims at simplifying the entire process of creating and running a startup by culling lots of age old bureaucratic red tape from the system.
